The weather cleared yesterday morning so we decided on a late start and also to push through a mild starlit night. Although the moon was not prepared to shine.
A line of unconnected lights ran for miles in a dark night. Ships, off Gladstone, waiting their turn at port. Silent phantoms.
We anchored off Great Keppel Island before noon. The sand and light cloud are white, the water is turquoise, the sky is blue and the sun is hot!
