An uneventful day under motor and a cloudless sky; tiller pilot at the helm. We dropped anchor in the company of the setting sun. A purple/pink hue ran from the sun in both directions around the horizon until it was one.
We are anchored in Wide Bay, at the foot of Fraser Island, to wait for high tide tomorrow to cross the bar into Tin Can Bay.
